Where Community and Wellness Meet

Contrast therapy

Contrast therapy, the practice of alternating between hot and cold temperatures to help support the mind and body, is a core element of Alchemize House.

Emerging research on saunas and cold plunges has found them to be incredibly effective at decreasing inflammation in the body, increasing physical performance, and promoting detoxification.

Contrast therapy goes deeper than the body. Alternating between the sauna and cold plunge challenges individuals in a controlled environment. This potent practice can help promote resilience and balance, energize the mind, and teach you skills for how to regulate emotions.

The saunas and cold plunges at our facilities are communal and gender inclusive. People from all over the world have traditionally gathered in saunas to heal and connect. We see this as a critical component of holistic wellness.

We ask guests to be mindful of other people’s needs and experiences, whether that’s having a respectful conversation or giving others a quiet space to meditate.

Sauna temperatures typically range from 80°-85° C (175°-185°F ), while cold plunge temperatures range from 8°-12°C (46°-53° F).

guided classes

Our classes range from yoga and Pilates to breath & sound —each designed to integrate the power of the breath.

Tapping into your breath brings an extra layer of mindfulness and embodiment to your mat––no matter what type of movement you’re practicing.

Join us for an all-levels 60-minute guided practice followed by 30 minutes of free-flow contrast therapy in our sauna, cold plunge, and lounging pool. Yoga mats are provided, we offer towel rentals but you are welcome to bring your own.

    • Yin Yoga: Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on holding deep stretches for an extended period, typically 3-5 minutes per pose. Yin Yoga encourages mindfulness and stillness, providing a calming space for both the body and mind.
